(Mostly) Great Service

Shepherds came at the recommendation of a friend and they were very helpful throughout the process of attracting buyers to the house. Very pleased with the process as a whole. Unfortunately there were some difficulties nearing the end of the process relating to the exchange and completion where information was being provided to us much later than we would have liked and we felt that the progression team were advocating more for our buyers than for us. An unfortunate blemish in an otherwise great service.

Best in town!

I have bought and sold several properties in Hertford through Shepherds over the years and have nothing but praise for David Simpson and his team who have always offered great service with a smile. I wouldn't look anywhere else to sell a property in Hertford!

Once again many thanks to you and your team for the excellent management of the sale of my property.

The professional service and courtesy Shepherds showed throughout the conveyancing process was truly outstanding and the 'In Touch' portal monitoring procedures was most helpful as well.

Guided well from start to finish

The entire process was explained clearly from the outset with realistic expectation management and the Shepherds team delivered on what they said they were going to do. There was a well-managed handover of responsibilities moving from stage to stage with a nice mix of urgency and humour which made the turbulent experience of buying a house a little less so. Thank you!

Thoroughly recommend

We were in really good hands

We recently exchanged on the property that we are buying through Shepherd's and we wanted to write to thank you for your help throughout this process.

It is our first time buying a property and we felt like we were in really good hands. We particularly valued the clear and responsive communication that your team provided us with.

We also wanted to make a special mention of George in the Sales Progression team that we have been dealing with. The whole Sales Progression team were helpful to us, but George particularly stood out and was professional, friendly, responsive and efficient at all times.

We would have no hesitation in recommending your firm's services.
