Buying my first home has been an emotional rollercoaster—exciting, nerve-wracking, and everything in between! A huge thank you to the David Simpson and Team at Hertford for helping me navigate the process. Their market knowledge, patience, and guidance made this big step feel much more manageable.

Of course, no house hunt is perfect! It’s so important to communicate your expectations clearly with your agents, and in turn, they should take the time to understand your needs with every conversation. Finding the right home is a journey, and having a supportive team makes all the difference.

If you’re thinking about buying your first home, I highly recommend working with a team that truly has your back. Now, time to unpack and turn this house into a home!

Professional and reliable

Excellent service showing sensitivity to the situation and keeping us informed and included in the marketing and selling process. Very strong knowledge of the area and what buyers were looking for and how to market the property. Prompt responses to all our enquiries and liaised well between us as sellers and the buyers.
Would not hesitate to recommend Shepherds.

Fantastic service - Highly recommend

Had an extremely smooth and quick sale of our property using the Shepherds team. They were always available and attentive to the situation that was presented, their guidance and knowledge with regards to pricing at the outset was spot on and from offer to completion was under 2 months. Would thoroughly recommend speaking to David and team with regards a sale or purchase.

Bengeo House Purchase

David and his team were appointed by the vendors in a recent purchase we made for a house in Hertford. David and his team worked hard to make the process as smooth as possible, regularly chasing up the parties to keep to deadlines.

David and Peter and his colleagues were incredibly helpful from start to finish. They were honest and straightforward which I always appreciate and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shepherds to other buyers and sellers in the area. The moving process was relatively easy and it's a relief to be in our new home.

Professional and effective

Thank you to David Simpson and Team for bringing the sale of the house to a successful completion. Having initially chosen to work with Shepherds of Hertford as they had already compiled data on the house by the first meeting leading to an accurate valuation, I was then very impressed with the service I received. The team are friendly and professional, working in partnership to market and sell the property; and communicating well in negotiations between the buyer, conveyancers and seller to bring the sale to completion. I can highly recommend the services of Shepherds of Hertford.

Professional Service

What should have been a relatively straightforward transaction encountered numerous 'roadblocks' en route to completion. David Simpson kept us informed of progress at all times and responded promptly to our queries/concerns following up with other parties as necessary in order to conclude the sale.
