So supportive

Shepherds gave me good advice on making my property more 'sellable' and the property was sold quickly. Due to complications the sale was a long, frustrating process and it eventually took almost 8 months to complete. Shepherds kept in contact with me all the way through, updating me every week without fail. It was comforting to have someone reliable and professional!

Extraordinary!

In the second week of October, I warned the estate agent who was selling my house that the conveyancing on the house I was buying in Hertford seemed to be nearly ready for exchange of contracts. He didn't believe me, as he knew that my offer had only been accepted on 14 September. He also told me not to believe everything that estate agents said! However, Shepherds of Hertford, and their recommended legal team worked brilliantly, and the sale was completed on 27 October. Peter Bluffield had emailed ' We will get you moved to Hertford as swiftly as we can'. Extraordinary, in the current climate. Throughout, communication was clear and extremely good natured. Moving day itself was long and stressful but Shepherds' staff were reassuring and encouraging. Completion date was not the end of the help - I have really appreciated advice and suggestions for reliable local contractors. Yes, I would recommend Shepherds with enthusiasm.

I really appreciated the way the staff at Shepherd's supported the process of buying a house in Hertford. Everyone who dealt with my enquiries was helpful and seemed familiar with the progress at any time. It was clear that their negotiator was able to facilitate the sale itself, and any enquiries afterwards. I would certainly recommend them!

Professional, respectful & kind at all times

David, our sincere thanks for Shepherds bringing the sale of Turners Close to completion. It was a difficult time for us.

From the moment we met when you came to give a Probate valuation, you have been professional at all times and we have been treated with the utmost respect and kindness by all your team. A special mention must go to Sam, who kept us fully updated throughout and valiantly fought our corner through a difficult moment.

Over the course of selling our two properties we always received good, honest advice.

Fantastic agents!

The whole team at Shepherds Hertford were outstanding from day 1. They were extremely knowledgable about the market (invaluable these days) and very helpful with marketing the property. Communication was excellent throughout a protracted sale and they were very proactive with solicitors. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fabulous

Having previously sold a property through Shepherds, I found buying through them to be an equally good experience. All the members of staff were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They really were a pleasure to buy through, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Efficient and friendly

All staff at Shepherds were so helpful and responded quickly to any queries/ concerns. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend for that personal touch and for making the whole process smooth. Thank you David in particular.
