Fantastic!
From start to finish my experience with Snowbility can’t be faulted. Kathy came back to my initial enquiry almost immediately, shared all the info I needed to book a lessson easily. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Richard and Daniel. The lesson seemed to go brilliantly from our position on the viewing platform. Only 2 looks up to us throughout the whole session from our son. They made it fun and incorporated the things Conor wanted to do (throw snowballs!) . Amazingly my son stayed focussed for the entire hour and came out saying he’d had fun. We received good feedback after and it was clear they had struck up a good relationship. I will definitely be booking again! Thanks Snowbility!!

Amazing skiing lesson!
My son who is autistic and struggles with severe anxiety had the most wonderful first skiiing lesson with Snowbility. The instructors were incredibly supportive, patient and kind to Noah and he felt very safe and cared for with them. Noah struggles with severe anxiety on a daily basis so for him to be able to get on the slopes and ski by himself all in the first lesson is a credit to how supportive and encouraging his instructors were. They instilled confidence in him and after one lesson I can see the impact it has had on boosting his self-esteem. The instructors took such care and did an absolutely brilliant job. Noah can’t wait to go back for his next lesson.

Highly recommended!
What a fantastic experience our son had during his first skiing lesson! He was quite apprehensive and unsure if skiing was for him, but after just one lesson, he eagerly asked me to book another. Richard and Daniel were incredibly patient and employed excellent teaching techniques that made our son feel safe and encouraged throughout the entire lesson. He emerged from the session with a big grin. This was undoubtedly the best choice we could have made. Their expertise and supportive approach have truly sparked a new passion in our son. Highly recommended!

Definition of Snow Angels
I’m so happy I was recommended Snowmobility. From speaking to Kathy through to meeting Daniel and Chris - this whole process was smooth and easy to understand. On the day, my 7 year son with high functioning autism met Daniel and Chris and they quickly took over to get my son dressed whilst including him and explaining what everything was. We spectated from the bar and I cannot explain how impressed I was with Daniel and Chris. Their kindness, understanding and support they gave my son was beyond what I expected and really made me feel relaxed and enjoy the experience too. For those this may help, my son has high functioning autism and can lose concentration VERY easily. Daniel and Chris allowed him time to be him and helped turn his focus back to skiing. I can honestly say, if like me you have a huge anxiety about taking your child in for lessons, you really need to give Snowmobility a try. It was an absolute joy to watch Daniel and Chris teach my son, I actually cried.

What a fabulous experience!
The Snowbility Vision statement says:
We aim to enrich the lives of the participants, by giving children with additional needs and mental health challenges the opportunity to develop both emotionally and physically through skiing.
We aim to give them a sense of achievement and pride.
Our ski session did all of this and more. Taking our children out of their comfort zone and giving them a new experience (that many would not get outside of school) has opened their eyes to what is possible if they try new things.
The staff were both encouraging and patient and helped the childen feel safe right from the start. The children left looking forward to our next session on the slopes.

A great experience for my son
My son had a great time for his taster session. With the help of the instructors, he overcame his sensory issues to put on the equipment. The instructors were very patient, explained everything so he could understand and it was obvious that they were very used to helping autistic children. When out on the slopes, the instructors were amazing with him, went at his pace and had him skiing down the slopes with support. His only complaint was that he wanted to go higher up the slope! A huge thank you to Zac, Daniel and Snowbility for allowing Ben to have this experience. He wouldn’t have been able to experience skiing otherwise. He was so happy and proud of himself afterwards. A brilliant experience!

Amazing experience!
We never imagined in our wildest dreams that our daughter (who has significant learning difficulties) would ever go in the snow centre, let alone put on skis. But she did all of this in the first session under the compassionate support of Richard. He understood the intricacies of the impact of her needs from the get go and involved us as a whole family in moving our daughter towards the snow, putting skis on and enjoying being pulled around on them at the end of the lesson. We can’t wait for the next lesson!

18th Birthday present
My daughter has used the Snowbility before when she went to Oaklands College and she really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly, helpful, considerate, caring and nothing was too much trouble. Overall a most enjoyable experience and we will definitely will be using Snowbility again.

Our son absolutely loved his taster session with Richard & Daniel. Their enthusiasm, relaxed approach and clear communication made it easily for him to engage and reduced his anxiety immediately. Usually new activities are a bit of a disaster but from start to finish he was beaming and loved every minute and can’t wait to come back. It was great to see how even in one lesson his self confidence was boosted. Thank you!

My son's first lesson was great 10 out of 10. l could watch him and see the progress. l would like to thank Richard for his understanding, care and genuine support. He is great instructor and easy to talk to. He is professional and calm in his approach. We will continue our lessons and l would recommend him to anyone who considers skiing lessons.
