Our young people loved their lesson
We were a group of cousins aged 6 to 14. Two are on the spectrum, and one has ADHD. Lesley was great with all the group, and they thoroughly enjoyed their lesson, Lesley was able to relate to each child’s needs. I thoroughly recommend Snowbility.

Amazing Patient Teaching
My son who has Autism and has a big block when it comes to sports had a really great first lesson. Chris was his teacher and he was so kind and patient and full of praise which made my sons first lesson a very positive experience and as soon as he came off he asked to come back again over this Easter holiday!! That’s high praise indeed from a child who lacks confidence with anything sporty! My younger child is neuro typical but at only 4 years she’s quite shy. Lesley took her onto the nursery slopes and for her first lesson even managed to get her to come down from the very top! Her lesson was shorter because she was pretty tired after 45 mins and she asked the teacher to come off but what was so lovely is that Lesley brought her down then let her play with the snow making mini snow men! That just shows how intuitive the teachers are in reading children to create a positive happy experience for the child.

Worth the travel
thanks a million to Kathy and the whole team, especially Beth. And Michael who helped us when we arrived with the boots. Everybody was so kind and helpful.

Hi, I went to this centre yesterday I had booked a two hours private lesson with Richard. Amazing experience and I had the best time ever. Richard has a great technique for teaching people like me who have never skied before. Now I am very confident, I can keep my balance very well, I can turn right or left and the most important thing is that I can control the speed and stop in a safe condition .
I highly recommend this centre

Just what I needed
I am an experienced skier in his 70s who has developed balance and mobility problems as a result of a medical condition. Returning to skiing has been difficult for me and Richard saw me when I was having difficulty trying to ski on my own.
I arranged a 1 hour lesson with him and by making sensible adjustments to my equipement and a gradual, stepped progression through a series of exercises, by the end of the hour I had made significant progress.
Richard was caring, supportive and attentive and did much to restore my confidence.
I will be arranging other sessions with Snowbility with a view to building on what Richard achieved so far.
The administrative and booking side of Snowbility is excellent and the whole team at the Snow Centre were friendly and efficient.

Awesome!!!
My kids had an absolutely fantastic time ski-ing with Snowbility. They had a couple of 1 hour ski lessons over two days. The instructors were ready and waiting to greet us on arrival at the centre. They were friendly, helpful and really put my kids at ease for their first ever ski experience. I thoroughly recommend Snowbility! Thank you so much.

Amazing experience
My son age 8 had the most amazing experience with Snowbility and skiing. He was quiet and shy at the start but Richard has such a wonderful manner, he was soon full of confidence and chatting away. He has had two lessons so far and already able to achieve much more than anyone hoped for. Its lovely to see a child full of excitement and self esteem! Thank you so much Snowbility and Richard for making a little boy so happy and a mummy so proud. Just brilliant!

Snowbility
Amazing session with Richard. My son was very nervous about trying skiiing for the first time and felt a bit overwhelmed and didn’t want to put on the ski clothes. However, Richard was great and displayed a good sense of humour and ease with our son, whilst also very professional. Would highly recommend this service to anyone with additional needs, making skiiing more accessible and great for physical and mental health! It made a son feel very proud of his achievement!

Extremely Impressed
We have an Autistic 6 year old, who struggles with Communication, connections and emotional regulatory responses. Leaving him in someone else other than schools care is something we are simply not used to and always nervous about. We were sceptical about the skiing idea as well there is just so much that could trigger him, the noise, the helmet, the boots, the cold, the falling over, the heights - you name it it could trigger him. Richard, the Instructor he was engaging, using the perfect technique of inclusion and knowledge of ASD to put our son at ease. I couldn't quite believe how at ease he seemed (well apart from a little trousers accident where daddy hadn't done them up right! That was soon sorted and he was out on the snow... I ran to the balcony to watch very nervous... but was astonished - he loved it! and Richard handled him perfectly, not pushing, asking him questions using techniques we'd explained like numbers and questions... I was incredibly impressed when half way through our Son was confident to ask to go to the top of the learners slope (he'd not skiied ever before). He took instruction, he listened and hes still raving about it to this day! Richard was simply the perfect teacher for such a task and he handled it perfectly - I am SO impressed at how it went and the feedback and help from Richard and his team was A class! A memory we will keep and cherish.
