I don’t usually write reviews, but...

...the service we received from Emmerson over a prolonged house purchase was above and beyond even the highest expectations. Our purchase turned out to be extremely complex (lasting over 12 months), and if it wasn’t for Emmerson’s staying power, positivity, professionalism and people skills, we would never have got over the line. He never avoided a call or a difficult conversation, an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Our house hunt had been a lengthy one, coming across many agents along the way, but we’d recommend Bedford’s every time.

Professional every time

We have dealt with Emmerson from the Bury branch on a number of houses we have built and sold. Every time the valuations and marketing has been spot in order to attract good offers and subsequent quick sales. Exactly what is needed for a small developer specialising in one-off, high quality, traditional builds.

Well managed sale from start to finish

Paul Bedford handled our probate sale with skill and common sense throughout. He patiently directed a potentially tricky transaction to satisfactory conclusion applying good humour and a sense of calm in all communication.

Fantastic!

Bedfords were fantastic from the very start of us looking for a house, to collecting the keys for our new house. Emmerson was particularly helpful and I am very grateful for all the help he gave us throughout the whole process. Thank you!

Bedfords

Bedfords sold my family home for me rapidly, at a difficult period in my life. They gave realistic valuations and honest opinions, avoiding unachievable expectations, which invariably lead to disappointment. All their staff are friendly and kind, and there was always someone available to answer the inevitable silly questions from me. They always returned any unanswered calls very promptly. I felt I had good value for my money, with a beautifully presented presentation of my property, with accurate information for prospective purchasers. Having secured an offer, the company followed the process through efficiently, making sure it was concluded as painlessly as possible. I have no hesitation in recommending Bedfords without reservation.

Amazing service

Amazing experience from start to finish. Even with a prolonged completion date due to the complexities on the Solicitors side of paperwork with leasehold landlords etc, Bedfords couldn’t do enough for us. Chasing things that went above our heads was particularly appreciated. Jennie was our dedicated contact which was lovely, made for absolutely no repeating ourselves of any situation and Jennie kept us bang up to date with calls and emails which was excellent. The whole service we received from Bedfords was above and beyond our expectations from day one at valuation of the property to the last day of completion. Cannot thank them enough!

House sale Bury St Edmunds

Bedford’s Bury St Edmunds have been extremely helpful and professional throughout the sale of the property. The staff especially Rachel Lapworth couldn’t be more helpful and gave regular updates on progress, they took the strain out of house selling and would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. Thank you once again for all your help and advice.
