I was aware of you locally from when I was looking for somewhere to buy. You had also been recommended to me by a few local friends who had good experiences of selling through you.
Ultimately I chose you as, after talking to 5 different estate agents I felt you were the most trustworthy and pragmatic about selling in this area. I also really liked all of the team members I spoke to and appreciated the balance of business-like information and warmth. You stood out as the most 'human' service providers of all those I met.
The service I received was really fantastic. Amber, as the lead person for our sale, was incredible. Other than a few small communication hiccups, service has been impeccable, reflecting my initial impression of a good balance of business like effectiveness and human warmth.
My situation is a bit complicated, as I was selling the flat which I bought with my ex, who for some of the time the sale was progressing, was refusing to speak directly to me. I also had a conveyancing firm who were not as good as they might have been, and really disjointed in doing the lease extension that was also underway as part of the sale. Amber managed this with tact and were supportive. You also drove the sale forward and didn't let our personal situation get in the way. I can’t imagine we were the easiest customers at times!
Amber in particular was spectacular in her support, drive and determination to make the sale happen. She regularly went the extra mile and more for us, helping to deal with solicitors and the freeholder, and 'tag teaming' with me and my ex to get things done tactically. She was also really kind about the tricky situation I was in personally, and didn't let it get in the way of progress even when I was distracted by it. She's a complete gem. I have NEVER come across an estate agent better than Amber (and I've bought and sold quite a few places over the years).
I will (and have!) absolutely recommend Prickett and Ellis to friends in your area. Sadly, I now live in Surrey so won't be able to use you myself. You have restored my faith in estate agents! Thank you for making a painful and stressful experience so much easier. And thank you for driving the sale through - I really don't think it would have happened with a less driven person on the case.
