Stuart saw us through what turned out to be a difficult process. His calm, helpful and knowledgeable professionalism gave us the support we needed. Without his diligence the sale could have fallen through. He kept in contact and never made us feel brushed off when we had questions. We would highly recommend Winkworth as a company and Stuart in particular.

We have just used Stuart (Winkworth, Maida Vale), to sell our two bedroom flat in Sutherland Avenue. Stuart achieved an excellent price for us in a tricky market and, most importantly worked incredibly hard, with a calm head, to keep our sale from falling through. We were the top end of a chain, involving other agents - never easy. We completed last week and cannot speak highly enough of the professional service we received. We had complete faith in Stuart from the outset. Stuart has first class knowledge of and understands the market in this area. We have also used their rental services for our family home very successfully. We highly recommended Stuart and Winkworth.

After initially giving our sale instructions to two other reputable and large "global' firms with flashy pitches, websites and promises and not getting the results we wanted despite being in the hottest selling market in the recent decade, I decided to call Stuart at Vickers who we originally bought the property from 6 years ago. Within a few weeks he was able to generate offers for us which eventually led to a successful sale - what was the difference? Having firms with global national footprints is great, but when you are trying to sell a family home in a very residential neighbourhood, you need to know your audience and how to sell the neighbourhood, and for that you cannot beat the experience and knowledge of what is an independent local agent (I hope Winkworth doesn't lose sight of this as they have now completed the merger with Vickers). Stuart was calm, cool, professional, diligent and knew who the right audience for my property was - he didn't tell me about the dozen viewings which didn't matter, but called me for the few that he said were the right ones and kept me updated. Most importantly - he worked hard to close the deal. I would only pick him for selling my other property in Maida Vale. Again - Winkworth you have bought a great independent agency - but please let them use their edge and their people!

We decided to move to London recently, but had very specific requirements which made our search quite hard. When we found a flat via Winkworth, we were contacted by Rubel, one of the friendliest agents we’ve met on the London property market.
When the initial property deal fell through, Roo continued to help us until we found the flat of our dreams! He has been extremely helpful and involved into the whole process. He has made sure we had everything we needed, was very responsive throughout the process and communicated extremely well at every stage.
If you find yourself working with Winkworth, make sure to ask for Roo for the best service in London!
