The initial presentation was excellent although I feel in retrospect that the property value was underestimated. We requested that it be put on the market at a higher price than suggested and it sold within a week for £7000 over our asking price.
The brochure was produced very quickly and to an excellent standard. We were kept informed of viewings and offers regularly. The team were very personable and were of course anxious to complete before the Christmas break, once a sale had been agreed. However, when there was a problem over some of the adjustments which looked as though it may delay exchange, a less sympathetic attitude was evident with the implication that because I had received an above asking price offer I should not pursue nearly £1000 of adjustment legally due from the purchaser as it may delay exchange. As it happened the problem was resolved in time to exchange before Chistmas
I am writing this review before settlement has been finalised and it hasn't been a smooth path from exchange to settlement but I am optimistic that all will be well.
In summary, I have been generally impressed by the efficiency of the office and the speed of the transaction and would recommend Greene & Co should the occasion arise.
